How the Star Teacher Program Works

Is there a membership fee to join Star
Teacher?
|

No, your membership is FREE! It's our way of thanking our best
customers for shopping at Office Depot.

How can I earn Rewards?
|
 |
You can earn Rewards by shopping at Office Depot. Present your
Star Teacher Member Card or provide your Membership Number when
you are shopping in-store, by phone, or on-line.
|

As a Star Teacher Member, how will I earn a
Reward, and when would I receive my Office Depot Reward Card?
|
 |
You'll receive at least $10 in Rewards when you get 10% Back on
ink, toner, and paper, PLUS get 1% Back on
nearly everything else.
Example: Spend $50 on ink (accrue $5 in Rewards) and $300 on
furniture and $200 on a Office Chair (accrue $5 in Rewards)
$5 PLUS
$5 = $10 in Rewards
Example: Spend $100 on paper (accrue $10 in Rewards) and $250 on a
camera (accrue $2.50 in Rewards)
$10 PLUS
$2.50 = $12.50 in Rewards
Office Depot Reward Cards are issued within 60 days after the end
of each Reward period. Reward periods are the same as calendar
quarters and balances are carried over quarter to quarter for a
calendar year.

Are there items that do not qualify me to
earn Rewards?

There are a few exclusions. Please refer to the Reward Credit
section of the Terms and Conditions for a list of exclusions.

When will I receive my Star Teacher Member
Card?
|
 |
If you enrolled using the Member Number printed on the Member Card enclosed in the program brochure, that is your permanent Member Card. If you did not use a pre-printed Member Number during your enrollment, you will receive your permanent Member Card in approximately 4 - 6 weeks.

How can I participate in My Special Offers?
|
 |
If you're not an existing Member, join Star Teacher now to
begin enjoying Special Offers created just for you!
If you are an existing Member, go to www.mystarteacher.com and click on the "Log In" button. Enter your Member Number and PIN
and click the "Log In" button again. Then click on the "My Special
Offers" link to view the Special Offers created just for you. For
detailed instructions regarding My Special Offers refer to the
"Help with My Special Offers" tab

Will Office Depot Reward Cards expire?
|
 |
Office Depot Reward Cards are valid for 90 days. If you do not
use your Office Depot Reward Card in-store, online or over the
phone during the specified period, the card will expire.

Will I receive any other promotional offers?
|
 |
Yes. As a member, you will receive promotional offers via
e-mail to help you save even more, based upon the types of
products that you already like to buy. If you're not yet a Member,
please be sure to provide a valid e-mail address when you enroll.
If you are an existing Member, go online to www.mystarteacher.com and click on the "Log
In" button. Enter your Member Number and PIN and click the "Log
In" button again. Then click on the "Manage My Account" link to
update your e-mail address.

other companies?

Can I submit a request to add a missing purchase made before I registered into the program?
|
 |
If your member number was given at the time of the transaction, the purchase will automatically be applied after you register. You must register in the quarter the transaction was made or in the following reward quarter to receive credit. If your member number was not scanned at the time of transaction, then it cannot be applied.

If I forget my Star Teacher Member Number,
what should I do?

Visit www.mystarteacher.com and click on the "Log In" button. Then click the "Forgot Your
Member Number" link. Enter the telephone number which you provided
when you joined the Star Teacher Program and click the "Search for
Member Number" button.

Star Teacher Member Services at 1.877.789.4544, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8 pm,

How can I change my contact information?

Visit www.mystarteacher.com and click on the "Log In" button. Enter your Member Number and PIN
and click the "Log In" button again. Then click on the "Manage My
Account" link to update your contact information. Once you have
updated your contact information, click the "Submit" button in
order for the information to get updated. You can also change your
contact information by calling Star Teacher Member Services at 1.877.789.4544, Monday to
Friday, 9am to 8pm, EST.

If I lose my card and need to order a
replacement, or would like to order additional Star Teacher cards, what should
I do?

To print additional Star Teacher Member Cards, please click on the "Print Your Member Card" link under the Customer Service Section. A PDF will open in a new window. Print this page and take it to your nearest Office Depot store to have the cards laminated for free! To request a permanent replacement Star Teacher Member Card or additional permanent cards please send an email to MemberServices@MyStarTeacher.com or call
Star Teacher Member Services at 1.877.789.4544, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm,
EST. There are no fees for requesting additional Star Teacher
Member Cards.

I forgot to use my Star Teacher Member Card
while I was shopping, am I still eligible to earn Rewards for my
purchase?

Yes, go online to www.mystarteacher.com and click on the "Log In" button. Enter your Member Number and PIN
and click the "Log In" button again. Then click on the "Add a
Purchase" link. Please choose either a Store Purchase or Delivery
Order and click the "Submit" button. You will need your sales
receipt in order to enter the required information. Once the
information is entered, click the "Submit" button in order for the
purchase to be added. You can also add a puchase by calling Star
Teacher Member Services at 1.877.789.4544, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm,
EST. Please make certain that you have your receipt or invoice
available when calling Member Services.

Can I submit a request to add a purchase from
a previous calendar year?
|
 |
Unfortunately, we are unable to add previous calendar year
purchases to your Star Teacher account. Missing transactions for
purchases made within the current calendar year may be added at
any time during the current calendar year, but must be added by
January 3 of the following calendar year. Purchases made during a
prior calendar year cannot be added. During the calendar year, you
can carry over rewards from quarter to quarter if the minimum
requirement is not met.

Yes, go online to www.mystarteacher.com and click on the "Log In" button. Then click the "PIN" link .
Enter the Member Number and Email Address which you provided when
you joined the Star Teacher Program and click the "Submit" button.
You should be receiving an email with your PIN number. If you
forgot your Star Teacher PIN number or if you did not provide us
with an e-mail address at the time of registration, you can also
call Star Teacher Member Services at 1.877.789.4544, Monday to
Friday, 9am to 8pm, EST.

The Teacher Appreciation Breakfast is annual event held in late
summer offering Star Teachers an instant discount, free giveaways,
and a complimentary continental breakfast.

When is the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast
held?
|
 |
Teacher Appreciation Breakfasts are held on Saturday mornings
during the Back to School season and vary by store location based
on school start dates in their area. Be sure to visit www.mystarteacher.com

events.

Why?

Though we do our best to host events prior to school start
dates, there may be situations where we were unable to accommodate

Can I pick up my Teacher Appreciation Week
bag any day of the week?

Bags can only be picked up during the Saturday breakfast.
However, you can take advantage of the 10% discount throughout the

Is the summer breakfast the only special
event held for Star Teachers?

 |
No! Office Depot hosts three teacher appreciation events
throughout the year. Be sure to visit us during January Star
Teacher Days, May Teacher Appreciation Week, and our Teacher
Appreciation Week during our Back-to-School season.
